Founded in 1976 on the campus of Sonoma State University, the United Flyers of Sonoma (UFOS) Disc Golf Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of disc golf in the North Bay area, fostering a sense of community among disc golfers and supporting many worthwhile organizations in the area.
Our members build for the future of the sport by designing and building new courses, introducing new players to the sport and providing the opportunity for them to come out and learn disc golf in a friendly, healthy and pleasurable environment.
Our tournaments not only provide for competition at all levels of play, they provide funds for a number of charitable causes that benefit the community as a whole. Our weekly matches, held at various courses in the area, are actually mini-clinics in which anyone can come out to learn the sport or learn a few tricks to improve their game.
If you live in the North Bay area, you can join our club by attending the monthly club meeting, or showing up at one of the weekly matches. For further information, just drop us a line.

Nestled in the beautiful coastal foothills of Sonoma County, California, Lake Sonoma is surrounded by world famous vineyards and land that is rich in history. Created by the construction of Warm Springs Dam in 1983, the lake provides for flood control, irrigation and recreation. When full, the lake has a surface area of more than 2,700 acres and 50 miles of shoreline, forming the perfect setting for a wealth of recreational activities. We invite you to hike, swim, ride, boat, camp, fish, disc golf, or hunt at our beautiful lake.
A grass roots project located on the west end of Santa Rosa. Tucked behind the iconic Santa Rosa Skate Park awaits a tight and tedchnical 18 hole course.
From its conception in 2017, the UFOS sponsored pilot program course brings amazing shots and creative lines to the sport of disc golf in Sonoma County. With the support of the local parks department, we have been able to revitalize a once forgotten park into a wonderful disc golf experience for all ages.

We now have a lost and found slot on the container at Taylor Mountain. Currently we are trying to get there to open it every Monday and Wedesday at 4:30pm or after the round. We will also perodically open it on the weekends when someone is available to volunteer.
Discs are kept for a minimum of 30 days, 45 days max. If not retained by the owner they will become property of the United Flyers of Sonoma Disc Golf Club to be resold or donated to schools and the community.
You can always try reaching out to someone on our Facebook Page or send an email to: lost@unitedflyers.org.
